It is presented in distinctive 60s-style nitrocellulose lacquer finishes. The two-piece maple neck has a walnut stringer and a comfortable Round profile, along with a narrower 1.687-inch nut width as found on SJ-200 guitars from that era, which makes first-position chords easier to play. The rosewood fretboard is dressed up with classic mother-of-pearl graduated crown inlays, one of the visual hallmarks of the SJ-200, and is equipped with 20 standard frets.\r\n\r\nThe no-border SJ-200 pickguard features instantly identifiable, iconic graphics, and the solid rosewood Moustache™ bridge is adorned with mother-of-pearl hourglass and teardrop inlays. In a nod to the preferences of many modern players, instead of a Tune-O-Matic™, the SJ-200 60s Original features a bone saddle.
