What happened to Edmond Music, Gilliam Music, and Larsen Music?
The answer is simple: we've changed our name to better reflect who we are today.
As of 2026, our stores are now under the unified term Oklahoma Music Co.
This rebrand also brings our longtime family of stores, including Gilliam Music in Norman, Edmond Music in Edmond, and Larsen Music in Oklahoma City, together under one unified identity. While you'll see a new name on our website, marketing, and social media, the ownership, employees, and commitment to serving Oklahoma musicians remain exactly the same.
Why the Change?
For years, our family of stores has served communities across Oklahoma under several different names. While each location has its own rich history and identity, they have all shared the same ownership, values, and mission.
As we continued to grow, and with the addition of our Enid and Weatherford locations, we felt it was time for a name that better represented the company we had become.
Oklahoma Music Co. reflects who we are today: one family-owned company serving musicians across the entire state while continuing to honor the unique history of each of our locations.
