For over a century, Powell Flutes has reigned as a producer of e some of the most beloved and sought-after instruments in the industry. The Sonaré PS-850 piccolo is certainly no exception! This beautiful piccolo offers the best in playability and durability thanks to its unique composition, making it a favorite among flutists here at Sweetwater. Both the headjoint and the body are constructed from resin-infused wood, which makes the instrument highly stable and resistant to the elements. But it's not just about durability: the resin-infused wood allows the PS-850 to retain the feel and tonal characteristics of grenadilla, giving you the freedom to perform with a delectable spectrum of colors. What's more, the Powell Sonaré piccolo's hand-cut headjoint offers players an easy-blowing feel and the flexibility they need to perform at the highest level. And with its robust silver-plated keywork and split E mechanism, the PS-850 piccolo will delight professionals and empower developing musicians.
